Our Founder

Kathy Sanders

Kathy is an experienced independent director and business leader. She has supported clients for forty years to grow, transform, and build out profitable businesses resulting from merger and acquisition (M&A) activities with a focus on sustainable organizations.  In addition, she has more than two decades of direct profit & loss (P&L) and revenue generation experience within her Accenture leadership roles.

She brings a strategic focus to designing programs that emphasize governance, results, sustainability, risk management, and security considerations. She can set a course for improving earnings while, at the same time, creating a modern platform for revenue expansion. Core to this is her ability to discern which parts of businesses can be standardized to generate efficiencies and what needs to be local to provide excellent customer service. Her vision for growth includes developing new services and business models that can rapidly respond to changing market conditions.

While Kathy has worked and lived in Europe and the USA, the scope of her programs has been global. As a result of leading multi-national teams, Kathy is culturally sensitive to the tools and techniques that can effectively equip and motivate transformation leaders to be successful. This combination of macro and local perspectives, along with experience in deploying rapidly emerging technology, provides insight into how to address governance, organizational issues, and risks to be mitigated in order to transform a business.

About Us

At Sand Heron Consulting, we work with C-Suite executives to set transformation programs up for success from the time they are budgeted and approved throughout their entire lifecycle.

Based on 40 years of experience, Kathy Sanders founded Sand Heron Consulting to focus on the parts of transformation programs that often get overlooked in the day-to-day operations of an ERP program. She knows how to work with the program sponsors to set a program up for success and work with them to keep it on track.
